Large clock temple-shaped marker surmounted by a mythological bust of Zeus god of the Olympy bronze patinated bronze and ormolu gilded brilliant and amati, Charles X period of the early nineteenth century circa 1820-1825. Rectangular vertical, the temple bronze patinated background enhanced by gold is surmounted by a bust of God Zeus master of the gods and men and rests on a rectangular base itself resting on a gilded base. The middle part is embellished with a dial punctuated with Roman numerals centered on a vegetable wheel of foliage and flowering stems turning in the direction of time. The whole is surrounded by a winding wave of acanthus leaves in the same sense of time. This strapping itself being framed by a bundle of oak and olive branches tied with a ribbon and two spangles of gilded bronze acanthus. The recess of the base and the cornice of the middle part are decorated with stripes of hearts and acanthus. The whole is based on a carved base of vases from which emerge flowering stems reminiscent of the central motif. The movement is silk thread, the wheel spoke star, bell and key are present but the pendulum is missing. This clock has a ringer hour and half, its movement works but not verified. Beautiful bright gilding and amati of origin. Dimensions: Height 48.5 cm, Width 19.5 cm, Depth 10.5cm.
