"Ketty Carré, Ship 1922" Ketty CARRE (1882-1964) 31.5 x 24 cm Gouache Signed and dated lower right Anne-Marie Lederer and wife of the painter Léon Carré, member of the Salon des Artistes Français, she discovered the Algeria during her husband's stay at Villa Abd-el-Tif from 1909 to 1911. Her works are influenced by Japonism and the Oriental miniature, which she reinterprets with a lot of charm and craft.
