Elegant Rectangular Coffee Table In The Neoclassical Style

Artist: Maison Jansen

Elegant rectangular coffee table in the Neoclassical style, attributed to or in the style of the famous Maison Jansen, dating from the mid-20th century (circa 1950–1970). This model, characterized by great structural finesse, consists of two tabletops:

Upper tabletop: Original clear glass, framed by a gilded brass structure accented at the corners by four posts topped with chiseled pine cones (or fluted acorns).
Lower shelf: Upholstered in superb fawn/cognac-colored leather, embellished with an elegant gold Greek frieze hand-stamped around the perimeter.

The frame rests on four tubular steel legs with a “rifle barrel” patina, connected by geometric gilded brass crossbars and ending in slender, tapered feet. A high-end piece with perfectly balanced proportions, ideal for a classic or contemporary interior. Condition: Very good overall condition. The leather has a beautiful patina, the brass retains its original luster, and the glass is well-preserved. Dimensions:

Height: 49 cm
Width: 93 cm
Depth: 48 cm
