A Haute Epoque Chest
A rare Haute Epoque chest made entirely of gilded oak, richly decorated with geometric motifs, interlacing, and numerous daisies carved in high relief. It rests on an ornate base. Although it was modified during the 20th century, it has retained its beautiful removable top and now opens via two doors on the front. A piece of character in good, practical condition.
