Large 16th Century Painted Chest
Very large polychrome pine wedding chest decorated with landscapes in shades of red blue and ocher. Still very fresh on the front, the decor is worn on the tray. It has its original handles and its keyhole, however the lock is missing. Savoyard or Piedmontese work, it resembles a model exhibited at the Savoyard museum in Chambéry.
