Pierre Charon was a painter of the French school, born in Château-Gontier (Mayenne) in the 19th century.
A former student of Henner, he painted landscapes of the Mayenne region as well as figurative works, such as nudes.
He participated in the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon des Artistes Français from 1902 to 1932.
This artist is known for his sensitive work with the figure and the nude; he often highlights the delicacy of textures and the soft hues characteristic of pastel.
