Designed in 1971 by the Strum Group—namely GIORGIO CERETTI, PIERO DEROSSI, and RICCARDO ROSSO.
Gufram was founded in 1966 as the brand of the creative workshop of the Gugliermetto Brothers’ company.
PRATONE is a striking piece that brings a touch of nature and whimsy to interiors.
It stands out for its large vertical elements that resemble oversized blades of grass, creating an interplay of volumes with soft, rounded shapes.
The structure is made of polyurethane foam, carved and lacquered entirely by hand using the patented Guflac lacquer.
Over time, a version called “Infinito” was designed, which echoes the design of the Pratone but is manufactured industrially.
The original “Pratone” was made entirely by hand.
This piece is in excellent condition and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Gufram.
