Pericle Menin, Four Etchings, Venetian Views, Ca. 1930.
A series of four etchings by Pericle Menin, dating from around 1930, depicting architectural views and scenes of the Venetian lagoon. The works depict evocative views of the city, featuring architecture, bridges, gondolas, and lagoon landscapes, rendered through an engraving style that pays close attention to detail and chiaroscuro contrasts.
The series includes the following subjects: Arches, Lagoon Poetry, the Ca’ d’Oro, and the Island of San Giorgio. All engravings bear the title, the technique, and the artist’s signature at the bottom, along with the MP stamp.
The works are mounted in non-contemporary frames and are, overall, in good condition. They are offered together as a cohesive collection of graphic works dedicated to Venice.
