Pauline Bewick, Large Watercolor
Artist: Pauline Bewick
Pauline BEWICK Very large (drawing) Watercolor titled "Nabom's Cows Have Trespassed onto Private Property"
Signed and dated 1980.
A prolific artist, Bewick painted in oils, sculpted, and worked with fabric, but she was best known for her watercolors. For the past decade or so, she had been working on her project Yellow Man, a large collection of works featuring a cartoon-like yellow figure with horns. In 2006, she donated a collection of 200 works—including tapestries, wall hangings, watercolors, and sketches—to the state; these are now on permanent display in the Walton Building at the Waterford Institute of Technology,[4] as well as at the Killorglin Library in County Kerry.
Dimensions with frame: 106 x 87 cm
