Longwy Henri II Model Set Of 12 Dinner Plates
A splendid and rare 12-piece dinner plate set, "Henri II" model, made of fine earthenware in the style of Saint-Porchaire ceramics.
Sepia and green Renaissance-style decoration featuring three intertwined crescents in the center and interlaced patterns.
Double markings on the reverse side allow the set to be dated to the early days of its production:
- A circular, recessed Longwy mark
- and a sepia-colored “Henri II – Longwy” mark.
Diameter: approximately 26 cm
Total weight: 6 kg
It will make your table unique, refined, and truly beautiful.
Good condition. Slight color variations between pieces.
The Henri II dinner service is the most prestigious of those produced by Longwy. Production began around 1882 and continued until 1908.
