Large decorative panel depicting a scene of relaxation by the water. On lounge chairs, two women are resting, sheltered from the sun by the awning of ahunting lodge. A walker is strolling by, and in the background, a hunter lies in wait. In the 1st foreground, framing the edge of the painting, a stylized archin "trompe l’œil" style reinforces the intimate nature of this bucolic scene. Restorations, craquelure, and areas of missing paint. Unsigned. In good overall condition.
