19th-century Empire-style bronze candlestick (gold-toned), converted into a lamp.
Square base.
Rests on four small feet.
Newly electrified: features a gold-toned brass socket for an E27 screw-base bulb and new wiring.
The power cord is routed through the interior of the candlestick.
The rectangular lampshade is crafted from *toile de Jouy* fabric featuring an antique-inspired motif, with navy blue decorative trim (soutache) along the edges (each side displays a different scene).
Note: This particular lampshade shape is space-efficient in terms of depth, making it ideal for placement on fireplace mantels, console tables, etc.
