Pair Of Large Painted Sheet Metal Lamps, 91 Cm, 19th Century

Pair of painted sheet metal lamps with fluted shades resting on bases decorated with palmette motifs.
HEIGHT: 91.5 CM

An elegant pair of painted sheet metal table lamps, featuring a striking celadon blue-green color scheme accented with gilded bronze.

Each lamp rests on a square base made of painted sheet metal, adorned on each side with decorative appliqués in the form of garlands of foliage and rosettes.
The architecturally shaped shaft is designed as a fluted column, punctuated with plant motifs and gilded moldings. A blue-green sphere, embellished with small gilded rosettes, provides the transition to the base.

The rectangular sheet metal lampshades, also painted in the same blue-green hue, are accented with a gold trim and adorned on the front with an elegant laurel branch motif centered around a rose, lending great refinement to the ensemble.

A highly decorative pair, featuring a neoclassical aesthetic with Louis XVI accents, particularly striking when placed on a chest of drawers, a console table, or a living room piece.
