"Diadème" Sapphire Ring in Two-Tone 18k Gold with Diamonds
"Diadème" Sapphire Ring in two-tone 18k gold. It features a closed-set oval-cut sapphire weighing approximately 1.10 ct. The yellow gold band transitions to white gold as it rises toward the stone. It is then pavé-set with diamonds, forming two scrolls on either side of the sapphire, before crowning it with a tiara-shaped triangle.
French craftsmanship, second half of the 20th century.

Condition
Good overall condition.
The sapphire, protected by its bezel setting, is well preserved. Its color is a deep, rich blue. The transition from yellow gold to white gold highlights the stone. The diamonds in the scrollwork frame it with a cooler glow.
The setting shows a slight patina and some signs of normal wear. These indicate that the piece has been worn, and the master’s hallmark—now reduced to a faint trace—is further evidence of this.
The design is original. The triangle crowning the stone gives this ring a distinct identity that classic solitaire rings lack. It is worn on its own.
