The mirror has a shaped frame in carved wood, lacquered in an ivory tone and gilt, with a gilt moulding along the inner edge. The pierced crest is decorated with scrolls, foliage and floral motifs, while two pierced lattice corner elements complete the base. The undulating outline and the ornamental repertoire reflect the Rococo taste revived in Venetian production of the late nineteenth century.
