Bed canopy in carved wood, lacquered with a light ground and water gilded. The front band has a serpentine profile, outlined by a multi-moulded gilt cornice that continues along the two side arms, ending in curved terminals.
At the centre rises a pierced rocaille crest, composed of a large fan-shaped shell, scrolls and acanthus leaves, with gilt relief elements alternating with lacquered areas. The design and ornamental repertoire recall the Italian Rococo taste.
Condition report: Good state of preservation, with signs of age and wear to the gilding and lacquer.
