Entirely in carved and sculpted walnut. Originally a cassone, later converted into a seat with the addition of an open back, upper rail, and pilaster finials with shell terminals. The sculptural decoration is arranged across three registers: a plinth with a continuous acanthus frieze, a central body with a relief panel depicting two telamones flanking an unidentified heraldic cartouche within a symmetrical composition of foliate scrolls and rosettes, and a back rail with a large ribbed shell flanked by acanthus corbels. Uprights clad in scale ornament. The seat is upholstered.
