Empire-style Desk And Bookcase Set
An Empire-style set consisting of a desk and a bookcase, made of mahogany and dating from the 1950s. A stately piece, adorned with numerous bronze details: caryatids, lion’s paws, cherubs, chimeras, lyres, palmettes… The desk top is covered in the original green faux leather. Four drawers on the front, complete with all their keys. A centerpiece that looks just as good from the back. The bookcase opens with three doors; the middle one is half-latticed. In good overall condition.
