Empire-style Desk, Late 19th Century
An Empire-style desk adorned with large bronze fittings depicting festoons and crowns. It features two doors and three drawers, and rests on eight tapered square legs fitted with brass feet. The top is covered in black leather and features an openwork railing as well as a central recess adorned with additional bronze motifs. The desk is mahogany-veneered and has been hand-polished. The interior is fitted with drawers.
