This Empire style desk, dating from the late 19th century, is crafted from mahogany and Cuban mahogany veneer. It features a large central drawer, two drawers on the left, and a double drawer on the right. Two pull-out slides are also included. The leather upholstery is a tan with gilt tooling and is in good condition. The desk boasts beautiful gilt bronze mounts for the keyhole escutcheons and drawer feet. The locks on three of the four drawers are in working order, and two keys are included. It rests on square tapered legs. This desk can be viewed at our warehouse in L'Aigle.
