Asymmetrical Plate Marseille Earthenware, From Robert Factory? 18th Century

Diameter: 23 cm.
A beautiful Marseille earthenware plate with a curved rim, decorated with asymmetrical flowers, a bouquet, a butterfly, and an almond-shapedmotif, painted in low-fire polychrome.
This light and airy design is characteristic of 18th-century Marseille pottery.
The plate is in good overall condition. The decoration is well-preserved and still vibrant, with only a few scattered chips on rim, including one that is slightly more noticeable, but no visible, no notable breaks or scratches to report.
On reverse, the high-fire firing marks have been painted green, as is often the case on earthenware from Robert’s factory, Decorative plate from Marseille, second half of 18th century, remarkable for the finesse of its naturalistic decoration and freshness of its colors.
Plate formerly purchased from the late expert Mr. Bonin, Béziers.
