Here is the beautiful large oval and hollow brass barber's dish, hammer built, wide hollow border, engraved of  beautiful coat of arms of a noble family, surrounded by griffins, under a Marquis crown.
Beautiful collector's item, for the family barber-surgeon, we can still see traces of silver plating that originally covered it.
Object has been in use for quite a long time, and has a beautiful patina, and also some bruises on surface, bottom having once been rubbed very vigorously; no cracks or soldering.
Quality of goldsmith's work, dating from 18th century,
