An old mechanical anemometer designed to measure air velocity in mines, tunnels, and underground galleries. The device is equipped with a four-cup rotor protected by a metal cage and connected to a graduated dial bearing the inscription “MTR.” The various counters allow for recording the number of rotations and calculating air displacement. Constructed of weathered metal with a cylindrical brass base. A scientific and industrial instrument from the early 20th century, showing signs of use, oxidation, and an aged patina.
