Pair Of Antique Consulat-era Wingback Chairs
An elegant pair of Consulate-period armchairs, dating from the early 19th century, made of solid mahogany.
These armchairs feature beautiful architectural lines characteristic of the Consulate period, with their straight, slightly curved backs, armrests ending in delicate volutes, and carved supports.
They are upholstered in an elegant green velvet, accented with a Greek fret-patterned braid.
The set strikes a beautiful balance between the simplicity of its lines, the richness of the mahogany, and the depth of the green velvet.
In very good overall condition, with the green velvet upholstery particularly well-preserved.
A charming pair of period armchairs, combining elegance, comfort, and authenticity—ideal for enhancing a living room, library, or office with character.
