Coffee Pot - Silver And Rosewood - Tétard Frères - Valéry Byzouard (1875–1945) - 1930.
Artist: Valéry Bizouard Pour Tétard Frères
A solid silver and rosewood coffee pot (handle and lid) crafted by the renowned Tétard Frères in Paris.
This is an iconic model from the firm, created in 1930 by Valery Bizouard (1845–1975), who successfully embraced the radical forms championed by the Art Deco movement.
In fact, this model (with an ivory handle and fretel) was chosen to illustrate an advertisement for Tétard Frères published in the supplement to *Le Figaro* called *Le Figaro Artistique Illustré* in 1931.
Furthermore, we find our model illustrated on p. 225 in the magazine *Mobilier et Décoration*, a monthly journal of applied decorative arts and modern architecture, published in Sèvres by Éditions Edmond Honoré, 10th year, December 1930.
Our coffee pot is in perfect condition (slight scratches).
Diameter (excluding handle): 11.5 cm
Height: 19 cm
