Two-part Box From Nepal Or Tibet
We are offering this lovely box that opens in two parts, originating from the Himalayas, Nepal, or Tibet, circa 1950.
The entire structure is adorned with coral and turquoise beads.
The base depicts a horse in full armor, like those seen in medieval tournaments in our part of the world. Unfortunately, it has lost one eye.
This type of object is called a “trinket box.”
