Silver-plated Bronze Church Censer With Hanging Chains, 19th Century
Silver-plated bronze church censer, 19th-century. The upper section is elegantly openworked with geometric and stylized motifs and rests on a circular, fluted base (pedestal). Includes its original suspension chains.
This censer is in good condition and of fine quality. A beautiful example of goldsmithing and Catholic liturgical art. It includes its inner container.
Please note: very minor dents on the bronze, very slight wear on the silver plating, and micro-scratches from age; see photos.
