A very beautiful and substantial Chinese porcelain bowl, featuring a rich polychrome design in the style of Famille Rose porcelain.

This large circular bowl features a particularly abundant decoration of flowers, peonies, foliage, butterflies, and birds on a luminous gold background.

The interior is adorned, at its center, with a lively scene depicting several Chinese figures in traditional costumes, moving through a garden and in front of a building with a green-tiled roof.

The central composition is surrounded by a geometric frieze and a profusion of floral motifs in shades of pink, blue, green, and red.

The exterior surface echoes this rich floral decoration, embellished with white medallions containing polychrome bouquets.

The reverse bears a red stamp with Chinese characters as well as an inscription in English indicating that it is intended for decorative purposes and not for food use.
