A beautiful round mahogany side table, resting on a substantial central tripod base, characteristic of furniture from the first half of the 19th century.
It is topped by an elegant circular top in heavily veined gray marble, bordered by a wooden molding.
The central baluster-shaped shaft rests on an architectural triangular base.
The three legs are richly carved with volutes, palmettes, and foliage motifs and terminate in remarkable claw feet, lending the piece a great deal of character.
A decorative pedestal table with balanced proportions, representative of Restoration period style, which can also be used as a small coffee table or side table.
