"bronze Sculpture, Art Nouveau Nightlight Signed By Léo Laporte-blairsy"

Rare bronze sculpture with a brown patina – Young Woman Serving as a Nightlight – Signed F. Laporte-Blary

Elegant bronze sculpture with a brown patina depicting a young woman dressed in a finely crafted drape, in a graceful and dynamic pose.

This piece stands out for its dual function: it is both a decorative sculpture and a nightlight. The composition includes a space designed to hold a light source, whose light diffuses delicately through the folds of the garment, creating a warm and particularly decorative effect.

The bronze work is notable for the finesse of the modeling, the movement of the drapery, and the attention to detail in the hairstyle and attire.

The piece rests on an elegant, fluted base made of veined green marble, which highlights the refined character of this work.

The sculpture bears the signature “F. Laporte-Blary” on the bronze base.

A charming piece, both artistic and functional, that will find its place in a classic interior or in a collection of antique bronzes and distinctive, luminous objects.
