Large 1900 Vase With A Design Of Sloe Berries By Gallé, In Perfect Condition, 38 Cm, Daum, 1900, Art Nouveau
Artist: Emile Gallé
A beautiful, large vase with a serviceberry motif by Émile Gallé.
This motif remains highly sought-after; this vase, entirely acid-etched, is richly decorated with cascading branches of green and blue serviceberries. Note the curved shape with a small neck and, above all, the lovely colors against this intense honey-yellow background—a hallmark of high-quality pieces by Gallé. The engraving is exquisitely delicate—I’ll let you be the judge.
In perfect condition, 38 cm tall, signed on the side, circa 1905–1910.
A beautiful, large piece, perfect with lovely colors.
