This dagger is in excellent condition and features very fine castwork and gilding.
The figure adorning the piece is completely unique; it is a design I have never seen before. The blade has a slight amount of play, which in no way detracts from the charm or beauty of this piece.
The felt lining is missing, and the blade is removable (it can be unscrewed).
The blade is double-edged and retains its sharpness.
