Wendy Fisher Bronze Modernist Mother & Child Sculpture Brutalist 43ch Tall

Wendy Fisher Signed Modernist Mother and Child Sculpture

An expressive cast-metal sculpture by Wendy Fisher, depicting an abstract mother seated upon an integrated architectural block seat, cradling a child against her right arm.

The elongated figure and intimate maternal composition contrast beautifully with the rugged, heavily modelled surface. Deep ridges, irregular contours and recessed areas give the work a distinctive Brutalist character, while the dark brown bronze patina and warmer highlights emphasise its sculptural depth.

Signed Wendy Fisher. The underside of the seat supports is fitted with black felt to protect display surfaces.

A striking figurative work for a console, side table or dedicated sculpture display.
