Turquoise-blue glass vase attributed to Auguste Jean, dating from the second half of the 19th century, circa 1870–1880.
Cylindrical in shape and slightly flared toward the shoulder, this vase rests on four attached clear glass feet arranged in a star pattern and accented with gold fillets.
The body features a Japanese-inspired polychrome enamel decoration, composed of stylized motifs with gilded outlines, enriched with geometric details, white flowers with red centers, and green and pale blue foliage.
The piece combines the transparency of turquoise-blue glass with enamels accented by gilding.
