Regency-style Silver Vermeil Timbale
Artist: Orfèvre « m&c « étoile
An elegant flat-bottomed cup made of
solid silver; it bears the hallmark of the master
silversmiths "M & C" with a star, hallmarked in
1875 and struck through in 1891, then reused in
1896 and 1901 at 77 rue des
Archives in Paris. It is the successor to
Henin & Vivier 1896.

The hallmarks are legible, with the letter
V.
