Paul Buhré Le Phare. Gold Pocket Watch With Minute Repeater And Chronograph.
A one-of-a-kind gold pocket watch, the result of a collaboration between the Swiss manufacturer Le Phare and the legendary supplier to the Imperial Court, Pavel Bure. This extremely rare piece combines a minute repeater, moon phases, a chronograph, Cyrillic calendar windows, and a bridged movement with two hammers and two gongs.Case No. 72647, 59 mm in diameter, made of 14-karat rose gold, adorned with fine guilloché and a partially enameled Russian imperial coat of arms featuring a double-headed eagle. The inner case back bears two historical inscriptions: Dedication in Cyrillic: “To dear Mitia in gratitude and for 30 years of loyal friendship. From V. Voronov. 1882–1912” Signature: “Pavel Bure, purveyor to the Court of His Imperial Majesty ”The enamel dial features Roman numerals, calendar windows displaying the days and months in Russian, a date indicator, moon phases, and a 30-minute chronograph counter. Signed: Chetine & Sons.The movement is a complex bridge-mounted caliber with an anchor escapement and a compensated balance wheel, engraved with Swiss patent No. 334. Finishes: gold plating, blued screws, high-quality decoration.
