Francois-theodore Legras, Ovoid Vase
An elegant, egg-shaped glass vase signed by François-Théodore Legras, decorated with stylized palm leaves in relief. The body features a rich palette of blue-green and turquoise hues, punctuated by marbled shades and textural effects characteristic of Legras’s glasswork.
The botanical design, rendered as a wide central frieze, contrasts with the vase’s opalescent and slightly iridescent background, lending the piece a beautiful depth and a particularly decorative appearance.
Signed Legras.
An elegant piece representative of François-Théodore Legras’s work, particularly prized for his naturalistic designs and his experimentation with glass coloring effects.
