Antique Flower Vase Made Of Hand-cut Crystal With A Diamond-point Pattern
A cut crystal vase resting on a square base. The body features a dense pattern of finely hand-cut diamond points, while the flared neck is accentuated by vertical facets.
The crystal has a very slight straw-colored tint, visible depending on the lighting. This subtle tint is frequently found in certain antique crystal pieces and is generally due to the material’s composition: it may, in fact, be linked to a higher lead oxide content, which gives the crystal a slightly warmer hue.
Good overall condition. Note a small chip at the base, visible in the last photograph. This minor flaw is unobtrusive and does not compromise either the stability or the overall aesthetic of the piece.
