Large Spherical Vase Made Of Longwy Enamel — Designed By Danillo Curetti
A remarkable spherical vase made of polychrome Longwy enamel, decorated with a graphic design featuring stylized chairs and plant motifs. Against a finely crackled ivory background, the green, blue, pink, yellow, and black colors create an original and harmonious composition, accentuated by dark outlines.
Its generous silhouette, topped by a short neck and resting on a circular foot, makes for a striking decorative presence. An expressive piece that combines the traditional craftsmanship of Longwy with a modern aesthetic.
The artist
Danillo Curetti (1953–1993), a Swiss-born artist and designer, contributed to the revival of the Longwy Pottery in 1983. Inspired by Art Deco, he developed compositions featuring bold colors and stylized forms, particularly well-suited to ball-shaped vases. His creations hold a prominent place in Longwy’s modern production.
