Pair of covered vases, Louis XVI style from the Napoleon III period in white marble and gilded bronze. The marble lids are decorated with a bronze fretel representing an acorn. The basins are flanked by two satire heads, united by a falling floral drape. An openwork circle with plant decoration joins the two satires. The basins rest on a bronze shower foot cast with gadroon. Square marble base. High quality finish when observing the interior, the vases in gilded bronze with gold leaf.
