Taisei Mizukami was a Japanese painter of the Taisho and Showa periods who graduated from the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. Born in 1896 in Fukuoka Prefecture, he studied under Koyo Terasaki.
His works “Ryukyu no Hana” and “Sakhalin Summer” won third prize at the Bunten Exhibition. He moved to Tokyo and became a member of the Teiten Exhibition Committee in 1928. He specialized in kachō paintings (animals and plants).
