*Jacques-Pierre Letellier, born around 1745, earned his master’s certificate in 1767 and established his workshop on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, where he worked for some twenty years. Like his father, he was a maker of high-quality chairs, but he also produced well-crafted Louis XVI furniture in rosewood, framed “à la grecque,” as well as a few pieces adorned with marquetry depicting trellises or landscapes.
