Provençal Walnut Shelving Unit – Circa 1900

Beautiful Provençal walnut shelving unit, dating from around 1900, featuring elegant carvings in the Provençal Louis XV style.

The upper section is crowned by a curvilinear, scalloped pediment, richly carved with a floral basket surrounded by branches and flowers. The side panels, also scalloped and curvilinear, frame two display levels.

The middle rail is adorned with carved flowering branches, while the lower section features a beautiful central design of an urn surrounded by foliage and flowers. The piece rests on small, carved legs topped with sculpted scrollwork.

A lovely piece of Provençal furniture, particularly decorative, ideal for displaying earthenware, collectibles, or decorative items.
