Coffee Cup - Ointment - Cream And Its Lid Made Of Paris Porcelain - Early 19th Century
Cylindrical in shape, it features straight sides resting on a slightly molded base. The lid, which is slightly domed and overhanging, is topped with a knob-shaped handle.
HARD PORCELAIN
White ground, adorned with a rich gilded decoration featuring radiating palmettes, stylized fleurons, and lyre-shaped motifs, linked by delicate leafy garlands tied with ribbons. The lid features the same decorative motifs in the form of a radiating composition, alternating palmettes, sprigs, and geometric motifs around the central handle. Wide gold fillets on the body and along the rims.
