This magnificent piece of jewelry,set with Chrysobéryl (a rare gem), set within a knot-shaped motif that extends to a teardrop-shaped Pearl.
Although the Pendant is in the Georgian style, I believe it dates more to the 1900s than to the 18th century.
The Pearl appears to be a natural River Pearl; it has ridges on its upper surface and measures 11 mm in length.
The setting is made of Silver; although it bears no hallmark, testing confirms that it is indeed Silver. The central stone is possibly set in Gold, difficult to access it to test.
