Georgian Grapefruit Spoons, 1816, Solid Silver

Antique Georgian Grapefruit spoons, in Hallmarked Silver with chiseled detail.

These original silver spoons, created specifically in 1816 for eating grapefruit, feature fine fluting, a serrated edge, and chiseled details.

Both elegant and practical, they are in excellent condition and bear perfectly legible hallmarks: the London mark (leopard’s head), the profile of the reigning king at the time (King George), and the date letter for 1816.
