Very Old Pair Of Georgian Earrings
A very old pair of Georgian earrings in 18-carat gold set with Coral. Dating from the early 19th or late 18th century, these are "Day and Night" earrings, the Coral drop being removable for daytime wear.
The finesse of the engravings is remarkable. The end of the drop is sculpted in the shape of a rose, and even the gold work is of great precision.
The Coral drops have white marks, probably due to age. (See photos)
Without hallmarks, their authenticity in 18-carat gold is guaranteed.
"Coral is a highly sought-after gemstone. It is said to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits. Its fragility and rarity contribute to its exclusivity, making antique jewelry precious and timeless".
