Red Chalk Drawing, Head Of Christ, 18th Century. France.

An interesting study of Christ’s head, executed in red chalk. He is depicted with his head bowed, his eyes closed, and an expression of great sadness. He has medium-length hair, lit from the left, and a short beard. The face is viewed slightly from below. The drawing is in fine condition. The sheet has creases in the upper right and left corners. The paper is slightly soiled, with a few traces of foxing.
The drawing is mounted on a pale pink cardboard backing.
France, 18th century.
