Signed Argyl Glass Vase, Circa 1930, Art Deco
Ribbed vase in light opalescent yellow glass with modernist decoration painted in both full-color and negative techniques, accented with silver-plated lines. Signed "D'Argyl" within the design. In good condition, with some wear to the silver plating, micro-scratches on the neck, and a glass stretching defect (see detailed photos).

D’Argyl is a brand founded in 1928 by E. Val & Cie, located at 218 Faubourg Saint-Martin in Paris; it produces various objects in glass, ceramics, and metals.
The brand is known for its distinctive signature on pieces created in collaboration with suppliers such as Legras and the Verrerie d’Art Lorrain under the direction of Paul Daum.
