Italian Brass And Crystal Floor Lamp 1950s

1950s Brass and Crystal Floor Lamp with an original design featuring a circular base from which tubular brass uprights extend, supporting crystal leaves arranged in four tiers separated by glass discs. This elegant mid-20th-century floor lamp, manufactured in Italy in the 1950s, is in good condition, rewired for European standards it works with three E27 bulbs for a maximum total of 500 watts. The lights can be switched on individually—either the two side lights or the top light. 

The interplay between the crafted crystal plant motifs and the polished ribbed brass gives it a retro charm that makes it ideal as floor lighting in both contemporary and antique settings.

The crystal elements in the two lower tiers are not original, have been replaced as they were missing. The lampshade is hand-made, with pleated ivory-colored silk and a white inner lining, and the original frame has been reused. The lampshade alone measures 70 cm in diameter and 42 cm in height.
